UKIP in Margate HD

This video is about UKIP in Margate. I turned up hoping to document the UKIP meeting and perhaps interview some of its members not expecting what seemed like aload of right wing extremists in front of the entrance. they shouted alot and seemed to be giving alot of abuse to people who were their protesting against UKIP. when asked what they were doing there they responded that they were protecting democracy and free speech and when asked are they voting for UKIP they said no they thought all politicians were liars and deceivers but when a UKIP billboard van passed by gave out a great cheer which seemed counter intuitive. Also they cheered people going into the UKIP event and likewise half those going in seemed pleased to see them. I tried to ask a slim white haired man at the beginning who i though i recognised as a right wing european politian what party he was from and who he was but he pushed my camera away and thence forth kept his back to anyone filming which i thought odd. I intended on going in to document the event and perhaps ask some pertinent questions of their members with a valid ticket i got online. thinking it was open to all a showed my ticked and then ID after waiting some time. Then being allowed through the front doors walked down to the lobby. were another ticket inspection was taking place. i was asked to turn off my camera then which i then did. one be-suited man looked at my T-shirt and then the ticket and then told me my ticket had been cancelled. i tried to tell him i was not their to cause a nuisance but just to document the event but was man handled and pushed out a side exit. the words on my T-shirt just said Bollocks to Austerity. Tax the Rich which i thought the common man and a banker such as mr farage was would understand my sentiments but to no avail. Amount of people who went in seemed to me to be below 100 or their abouts as well but still very low for such a big venue. online it said it was sold out with 1,200 people attending which i saw no evidence for. id like to add for a small group of right winger protestors who were well out numbered by anti UKIP protesters most of the noise came from them and at times it was difficult to understand them.
