John Wick Director In Talks For Deadpool 2 - Collider Movie Talk HD

Mashable notes that several other directors remain in the mix, but that Leitch’s name is at the very top. The sequel doesn’t currently have a release date, but Fox is moving forward with casting already underway for the role of Domino. While Robert Downey Jr. has his plate full with two more Avengers movies on his contract, he is still very much interested in getting his next Sherlock Holmes movie off the ground. Variety reports that Warner Bros. and Team Downey have created a writers room to help shape the script and story for the next installment. BUY OR SELL According to Deadline, Doug Liman is looking to direct the upcoming sci-fi adventure novel Unearthed. Unearthed is the first of a two-book series to be published next year by Disney’s Hyperion. The novel is a YA thriller described as Lara Croft Meets Indiana Jones, set in deep space. Another highly anticipated superhero movie just wrapped production. The cast and crew of Taika Waititi‘s Thor: Ragnarok finished filming yesterday in Australia, with a post-wrap celebration broadcast to fans around the world via Facebook Live. Waititi then let a little something slip, the character name of Miek. It appears now that we’ll be getting a lot more story points from the popular Planet Hulk run. Benedict Cumberbatch has already confirmed that he’ll return for Avengers: Infinity War and now, thanks to an interview with Yahoo UK, he’s hinting that Strange might just be the guy to help bring the Marvel superheroes back together after the events of Civil War. According to an interview in GQ, (via The Playlist), Wes Anderson is already in production on his stop motion animated movie that features the voices of Jeff Goldblum, Bob Balaban, Edward Norton, Bill Murray, and Bryan Cranston. The story is said to center on the lives of dogs, though exactly how the story plays out remains a bit of a mystery.
