The Writer Speaks: Bill Richmond
Richmond discusses his life and career as a screen and television writer. He moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career as a jazz musician and worked with the legends of the 1950s and 1960s. He moved into a writing career and one of his first credits was the Jerry Lewis vehicle THE NUTTY PROFESSOR (1963). In television, he wrote for numerous comedy and variety shows and won multiple Emmy awards for his work on THE CAROL BURNETT SHOW. Interview filmed on April 20, 2011.
