Cambodian Beach BBQ HD
Guerilla BBQ in Cork Bewildered by the exquisite food of the street kitchens of Cambodia , we decided to dedicate a very special barbeque event to the Cambodian cuisine during our journey through Siem Reap and Phnon Peng. We made the Cambodian BBQ; a kind of fondue with the meat roasted on a grill , while being cooked at the same time in boiling water with vegetables and noodles . A nice side effect is that the juice of the roasted meat gives the boiling water a wonderful bubbly flavor which becomes increasingly intense . Back in the rough green Ireland , we thought we could defy the wind and weather and combine the taste of the streets of Phnong Pheng with the mystical beauty of the Irish Atlantic coast . We had our blankets spread in a semi-closed dune , started chopping vegetables and throwing on the grill. The water bubbled after only a few moments and it was not long before the edge of the grill was completely filled with noodles and vegetables and the meat sizzled.
