ATLANTIS VIII HD

Atlantis is an annual Mediterranean Red Cross/Red Crescent Youth Camp that can be considered as a common space where young volunteers from the region can meet, exchange ideas, propose initiatives and discuss on humanitarian issues. It is thought and organized for the RC/RC Youth who represent more than half of the total number of Mediterranean RC/RC volunteers. They stand as the driving force for positive change of behaviours and attitudes, contributing to a culture of non-violence and peace throughout the region. Since its first edition, Atlantis has consolidated itself as a referential meeting point to bring together young volunteers and empower them to promote cultural diversity, intercultural dialogue and to counter stereotypes and discrimination. It is an opportunity not only to allow volunteers to meet and share experiences and knowledge, but also to build their capacities to be dynamic models of positive change within their communities.
