1995 Argonauts

1995: Show Title: "Adventures in Rhythm" Musical Selections: Ponteio by Jose Carlos Capinan and Edu Lobo Ipanema Sol by Lee Ritenour Hero by Mariah Carey The Argonauts Marching Band was formed in 1988 following the disbanding of the Argonauts Drum and Bugle Corps after the 1987 season. The band competed in the YBA and later Summer Bands International(SBI) Band circuts until the Argonauts organization folded following the 1996 season. The Northern Lights took over operation of the band in 1997 after the Argonauts organization folded. The Band won the SBI championship in 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993 and 1995, and the Drum Corps West Band Championship in 1996 and 1997. The Argonauts Executive Director was George Tuthill. The Northern lights Executive Directors were Jim and Randy Baierl. The Band director was Mike Anderson.
