Choice Part II, Dr. Kinyanjui Nganga

12.12.2016
The choices we make accidentally are just as important as the choices we make by design. It is only when you exercise your right to choose that you can also exercise your right to change. There is no life as complete as the life that is lived by choice. Learning what to choose, and how to choose, may be the most important education you will ever receive. Choices are the hinges of destiny. Life is the sum of all your choices. We all have made some bad choices in our past. If you’d like to know what your choices have been, look at yourself and the life you have lived. What you see is a reflection of the choices you’ve made. You cannot manage yourself if you do not manage your choices. Manage your choices, and you will manage your life. Every choice has a price tag. Every choice has an end result. When you say ‘yes’ to one choice, by default you say ‘no’ to another. We choose our joys and sorrows long before we experience them. The self is not something ready-made, but something in continuous formation through choice of action. As Stephen Covey puts it, “While we are free to choose our actions, we are not free to choose the consequences of our actions.” Join Dr. Kinyanjui Nganga in this life transforming lesson, Choices.
