MATERIALS: Newspapers Scissors A Stapler Glue Some ribbons INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Trim the folds of the newspaper to have individual pages 2. Then, fold each page in half along its length, then fold it again, and again one more time You should have a resulting strips of 1 1/2 inches x 22 inches Fold more newspaper until you have about 100 strips 3. Start by interweaving the centers of four strips You may use glue or staplers to help hold the papers in place 4. Continue weaving strips until you reach the dimension of your choice (Mine is 15 inches x 12 inches) 5. To create the sides of your basket, fold all strips upwards and just continue weaving (Make sure your strips are tightly woven) 6. For the corners, simply bend your side strips and just continue weaving 7. Weave until you reach your desired height 8. Cut the excess newspaper strips 9. Fold in the toppest layer of the newspaper strips in and secure with staplers 10.
