“Soledad” is Spanish for solitude. Her passing has left him lonely and miserable and he questions why she had to leave. Through all this pain, he accepts that she was his only true love and will always cherish the memories of her. If death assured him a reunion with her, he would gladly take away this life of constant misery. He has lost control of his faculties and the emotions of her passing are overwhelming him.
