Disney Channel Cartoon Medley, In the Style of an Epic Orchestra HD
So, I just got over 300 subs! Because of that I decided the best way to celebrate would be to cover this big medley of some of my favorite Disney Channel Cartoons in the style of an epic orchestra. I made this choice because my two most popular videos are related to cartoons (instead of anime) and my most popular video was a mash up. I also just really love cartoons!!! So, I thought it would be a great idea to take that mash up idea to the next level and make a complete medley! I love Disney! There animated movies are some of the most iconic films ever made and their animated series are genuinely some of the best shows I’ve ever seen! I wanted to stick with mostly their newer cartoons because I’ve recently got into a lot of them. The first song I put in the medley was The Owl House Main theme. The Owl House was made by Dana Terrace. The Main theme was composed and produced by TJ Hill. I love The Owl House; it is genuinely one of my favorite things right now! Everything about this show is just amazing!!! And the main theme fits the vibe of the show beautifully. The arrangement has a very mysterious and fantastical feel. So, I wanted to keep that in my arrangement. The second song I included was the Phineas and Ferb theme, also known as, Today is Gonna Be a Great Day. Phineas and Ferb was created by Dan Povenmire and Jeff "Swampy" Marsh and the main theme was performed by the band Bowling for Soup. I love this show too. All of the catchphrases and music is iconic, and the main theme is just as legendary as the show itself. I decided to base my arrangement off of Yoko Shimomura’s rendition of Simple and Clean. I thought doing a similar approach that she did when arranging a pop song into an orchestra would work great for Phineas and Ferb’s pop punk theme. Of course, I had to add in an electric guitar at the end of the arrangement, it wouldn’t be Phineas and Ferb without it! The third song was the Amphibia Theme Song. Amphibia was made by Matt Braly and the theme song was composed by Doug Petty. Amphibia big shock, also another show I love (it’s almost as if I love every show on here). The theme song with its very folk vibe fits the show perfectly! Now what does that have to do with early 2000s techno dance music? I don’t know, honestly this song is one where didn’t have much of a plan going into it. So (as a do a lot) I just dive right in and see where the arrangement takes me. Honestly, I would have never expected it to go that way, but I think this one turned out amazing! The fourth song added was the DuckTales Theme. DuckTales (2017) was made by Francisco Angones. The theme song was written by Mark Mueller and in the original version was preformed by Jeff Pescetto, but in the 2017 version was re-arranged by Mueller and performed by Felicia Barton. I love the 2017 reboot of DuckTales!!! It is honestly the perfect way to reboot this classic series for a modern audience!!! And the way they rearranged the original
