Eat My Words FutureChef Regional Finals 2016 HD

On Wednesday 6th January 2016 we hosted the Eat My Words FutureChef Regional Finals at our L20 Hotel School kitchens and restaurant. Eight budding chefs aged 12-15 years from five different schools and colleges took part in the competition. The local finals were judged by industry chefs Adam Stanley, Head Chef at The Glynne Arms and Executive Chef at Everton FC, Gareth Billington. The competition was won by Bethan Disley-Jones from Penbsy High School who will be paired up with a local industry chef mentor, to work on her dishes for the National Final. The FutureChef competition will culminate on the 14th March 2016, with the National Final taking place at Westminster Kingsway College in London. Many thanks to all the schools, pupils, teachers and parents who took part and congratulations to all our competing chefs for the standard of food they produced and professionalism they displayed.
