We have the standard version here today, but there’s also a waterproof version, one with Gore-Tex or one with perforations. For the base version, you get a microfiber upper with well-padded flex areas on the front and rear. There’s also a gaiter at the collars to provide a more reliable seal around the calf. Then for protection, you get a polyurethane ankle retention system, heel guards, shin plates with integrated mesh intake vents, PU shift pads and replaceable toe sliders. Entry and exit is by way of a full length inner zipper kept secure by a large Velcro flap. The outer sole is a single compound rubber, and the inner sole is built to conform to the shape of the foot and is replaceable if necessary. The interior mesh liner is made to breathable and it’s really nicely padded. We have a Euro 45, which equates roughly to a US size 11. I’m usually a 10.5, but in this case the boots fit pretty well. I would likely drop down to a 44 if I were to buy these however.
