Motley Crue - Piece of Your Action August 18, 1984 @ Castle Donington, England Monsters of Rock Tour! The Crue makes their first trip to the U.K. and plays the huge Monsters of Rock Festival in Donington. Their set started at noon in front of about sixty thousand metalheads. After kicking off the show, Motley is followed on stage by Y&T, Accept, Gary Moore, Ozzy Osbourne, Van Halen and AC/DC. During the show, a cows eyeball is hurled at the band, amongst other animal parts, and it lodges in Tommys drum riser. At the end of their set, Nikki throws his bass into the crowd and it lands on a fan named Stu Taylor, smashing his glasses and cutting his head open.
