Phil Ray soars over Mt. Tam HD

A handful pilots showed up at B-launch on Sunday afternoon, January 13, 2013 hoping for great conditions similar to Saturday. It turned out somewhat marginal but Phil Ray, the sticker #2 local pilot took off first and managed to soar over beautiful Mt. Tamalpais State Park, enjoyed the spectacular view of the Farallon Islands 25 miles out to sea, the Marin County hills, San Francisco and the bay, hills and cities of the East Bay, and Mount Diablo, and landed on peaceful Stinson Beach with a great smile.
