Sucks to have cool ideas only to be thwarted by unlucky die roll after die roll. So we offer up suggestions to help this Dungeon Master and player breathe the fun back into their gaming experience. One of my players (also my 15 yr old son) is a Barbarian. Just turned 5th level. I do declare, he has not actually hit anything in combat in about seven sessions. It is getting very frustrating for him. We have been talking a lot about how to use teh barbarian skills. He has the hang of rage and reckless attack. But, he rolls terrible. For example: this past session, the first @ 5th level, the Barbarian went rage and reckless attack, two attacks per round! Two attacks, at advantage, four rolls, each roll under a 10.
