When it comes to super soldiers like Erik Killmonger strength is a measurable thing that’s relatively easy to understand. The problem comes when you start moving up the strength scale into Marvel’s vaunted Class 100+ strength, how do you measure power beyond that. Class 100+ came as a way to talk about exactly how strong the Incredible Hulk really is. But the Hulk is hardly the only being in the Marvel Universe that can bench press a commercial airliner. Sure, Thanos can lift, bro, but is that the best way to determine his strength? Just what is strength to beings like Dormammu or Mephisto?
