Mini ITX Build 2014 - Part 3 (Finale) HD
Finally, I have received all of my shipments and I can actually put this computer together and turn it on for the first time! --- This server is designed to run gaming servers - specifically Minecraft or FTB. I have been working on a Java program that will allow the server to be remote-controllable, so that I can turn it on/off at any time, or switch games, etc. I may eventually make an episode about the code behind this controller program. Overall, I only spent about $206 on this server, as I already had the RAM, HDD, and power supply. Also using a free OS - Ubuntu - saved me another $96. I could have easily spent less if I had not made the build Mini ITX, as mATX motherboards and cases cost less than mITX.
