In this series, I take you through the life, and growth of shortstop Andre Russu, a NY born kid who was counted out after injuries, and makes his return to baseball on its biggest stage. This Road to the Show is different from all others because I take you through the life, the ups and downs of being a player, etc. of Andre Russu. This character is based somewhat on myself, due to the fact that I have suffered injuries and am working tirelessly to make it back to playing, and hopefully one day reach the show myself. Essentially I take you through my memories, thoughts, and life on a journey like none you have seen on YouTube. For my Road To The Show, Andre Russu is a 6’4” 220 pound speed demon playing SS with decent hitting to start. In real life, I am 6’4” 165 pounds with no muscle due to my prior injuries. I played First Base and was a Pitcher before getting hurt, but I have played all 9 positions in my time in travel and intramural baseball. My goal is to get back to playing, and to put on the muscle I was not allowed to build until a couple of months ago. The road is hard but this RTTS not only is incredibly fun for me to make, it reminds me why I am doing what I am doing, and gives me hope towards the future.
