Full Race: 2016 MFG #3 Beginner Men HD

This is the full Beginner Men race from the 3rd race in the 2016 MFG Cyclocross race series(http://www.mfgcyclocross.com/2016-cyc...). This race, the Katie Blincoe Prestige, was our first race with serious hills and sand. There were no barriers since there were no need for them. The hills were steep enough and the sand was long enough. Coming into the finish I thought we had another lap and so I laid off the gas to gain a breather for the last lap. When I got to the finish, to my surprise, they had cut-off our race after the top 5 and so I did not get to try move up in one more lap. In the end I placed 9th out of 33 racers. I held onto 4th for first two laps but ran out of gas to keep hammering it and dropped back to 9th in the end.
