Our facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/EatEastIndian Follow us on twitter: https://twitter.com/EatEastIndian Pinterest: http://pinterest.com/eateastindian/ Our Blog: http://eateastindian.com/ Ingredients: 250 gms Jaggery (Gur)- unprocessed, unrefined cane sugar 1 cup sesame seeds 1/4 tsp cardamom powder (Elaichi powder) 1/2 cup water 3 tbsp shredded coconut flakes 3 tbsp crushed almonds and cashews Method: Roast Sesame seeds until golden. Set aside Dissolve jaggery in water on medium heat in a saucepan. Bring to boil then let cook for 3-4 mins until caramalized. Mix sesame seeds, cardamom powder, coconut and dry fruit in the jaggery syrup and mix well while stirring everything quickly. Form into round walnut or golf size balls while still warm. Can be stored in an airtight container for upto 3 months.
