Steve Stevens Shoots Innocent 74 Year Old Robert Godwin Sr. In Cleveland Live on Facebook (REACTION) HD

On Sunday April 16 2017, a man named Steve Stevens randomly shot and killed an innocent 74-year-old man named Robert Godwin Sr. as he was walking down the street. All of this was filmed on Facebook Live. Stevens made quite a few videos talking about his personal problems, the main one including having some sort of disagreement with a young lady which made him “snap.” As he was driving around in his Ford Fusion, a white sedan, he was basically talking to himself while recording. Again, complaining about his personal issues. He then spots Robert Godwin Sr. walking by himself with what appears to be a plastic bag that he probably was carrying to collect cans (which was a hobby of his after he retired.) Stevens then asks Robert if he knew the young lady he had been complaining about, Robert says no. Stevens then says “well she is the reason this is about to happen to you” and at that point he shoots him at point blank range. Unfortunately, this is not the first time a senseless attack like this has happened, nor is it the first time that it has happened on Facebook Live. And it almost always involves a black male on one --or both-- sides of the gun. There was the case in Norfolk, Virginia where some young black men were sitting in their car smoking and listening to music when they were all shot from a drive-by. Luckily, no one died, but one person was left paralyzed. Another incident happened in Chicago where a man was filming himself while outside. All of a sudden, shots ring out, and he is shot and killed. You also have the case of the black ex-reporter who shot and killed his former coworkers live on TV in the Roanoke, Virginia area. Then there was the “BLM kidnapping” where four black youth kidnapped and tortured a white special needs teenager as they filmed it. All of the aforementioned events were filmed live on Facebook and there doesn’t seem to be an end in sight, unfortunately. Some want to blame the “patriarchy” some want to blame “white supremacy” some want to scream double-standard because of Tamir Rice being shot by police right away and Steve Stevens still being on the run, but all of these are emotionally driven arguments and do not get down to the core of the issue which is the person who did the act and the victim.
