If your Windows 10 is freezing intermittently after bootup, you may have a corrupt iastor.sys driver. The fix requires turning off fast start, setting HD power saving to 0, and downloading the latest Intel Rapid Storage drivers directly from Intel. This is on an HP Envy 750 series desktop and my problems began after a July windows update and/or running CC Registry cleaner. not 100% sure of cause.
