1967 Ford Mustang Fastback GT 500 Shelby Restomod. According to the owner this custom built 1967 Mustang GT Fastback is a one off complete rotisserie restoration that took over 3 years more than 4000 man hours to build. It has a 428 550 HP Police interceptor motor with 2 chrome 4 barrel carbs by Edelbrock, featuring a chrome intake manifold, Lokar linkage and gas pedal, chrome fuel pump by Edelbrock [high volume], scorpion roller rockers and push rods that are fully adjustable, with a fully polished March serpentine belt pulley system. It has ceramic coated Hooker super comp headers, and a polished MSD distributor. All of the hoses are stainless braided using AN fittings including the heater hoses. The radiator hoses have been chromed to help complete a very over the top restoration. The cooling system features two electric fans with a polished over sized aluminum radiator. What makes this engine compartment so complete are the Cobra air intake cleaner the valve covers and how they were painted the same as the body. The strut tower support braces are from Total Control Performance and are fully polished as well. This engine has been completely rebuilt from top to bottom. Sporting a Tremec 5 speed manual transmission with body match paint continues the undercarriage theme thought the car. A Hurst shifter, custom aluminum drive shaft, 9" Ford axle that has been modified by Mosier engineering, with 3.73 gears and a posi-trac custom Mosier axles this car can really hook up and go on almost any surface. If you are wondering about stopping and turn all this power then just leave it up to the Wilwood 4- wheel disc brakes, Shelby traction bars all painted to match the body. The front suspension is from Total Control Performance. With a full upgrade featuring Tubular upper and lower control arms, coil over shocks, 11/4 sway bar, polished power rack and pinion, polished strut rods, the rotors have been drilled and slotted as well with braided stainless brake lines. The Stainless exhaust system has a polished Magna Flow muffler and really cool oval tips putting out a very respectable mussel car sound. With full polished hood Hingis from Ring Brothers helps complete a spectacular motor compartment. The Shelby fiberglass hood has been modified on the underside so it does not look like a typical fiberglass hood as well as the deck lid. All of the chrome is new and has been polished. It does have the Shelby side scoops and tail lights as well as the Shelby grille and inboard lights. The entire body from top to bottom looks like it has been dipped in paint and six coats of clear were then applied. The inside of the trunk has been fully customized with 2 Kenwood Excelon sub woofers and 2 Excelon amps all in a custom enclosure. Twomid range Excelon speakers are in the trap door.
