Franz Konwitschny (1901-1962) conducts the Leipzig Gewandhaus Chamber Orchestra. I created this video with music from the LP pictured above (at 2:13 and 5:02), issued in the USA in 1956 on the Decca label, serial number DL 9842. So that there is no question in the mind of the listener, I rely principally on images of the LP and LP jacket in order to document the authenticity of historically important recordings such as these. Народный артист СССР (1989). Учился у своего отца сначала в ЦМШ, затем в Московской консерватории, которую окончил в 1955. Ещё будучи студентом, одержал победы на конкурсах в Будапеште (1949) и Познани (Конкурс Венявского, 1952). После окончания аспирантуры (1958) был принят в штат Московской консерватории, с этого же года ― солист Московской филармонии. С 1996 преподаёт в Брюссельской консерватории. Творческий почерк И. Ойстраха характеризуется интеллектуальным, расчётливым подходом к исполнению, реалистичностью интерпретаций. Выступал в дуэте со своим отцом, а также с оркестром под его управлением.
