On behalf of BSC and the organizing committee Ruth Craddock Sok Nhep gave a warm welcome to all the participants. three of BSC staff led us in worship. Rev. Lim Pheng. a board member of BSC opened the workshop with prayer. Rev. Arun Sok Nhep, United Bible Societies Team Leader Asia Pacific conducted two sessions on (1) History and Impact of the Bible on Society and Culture, (3) Ministry of the Bible Translation. I also conducted two sessions on (2) Contextualization of the Gospel, and (4) Promoting the Khmer Language among Christians. There were a lot of historical facts, Biblical truths, cultural richness, cultural sensitivity, theological practicality and funny stuffs all of us received from this seminar. All of us agreed with Apostle Paul that we will become all things to all men, so that by all means possible I might save many Cambodians by the Gospel of Christ printed and preached in Khmer language that is acceptable and understood by the majority of the Cambodian people inside and outside our country.
