Israel Tests Sea-Launched LORA Missile Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) has successfully completed a firing trial with the Long-Range Artillery weapon system (LORA), marking as part of the demonstration and validation phases of the system, under a number of procurement programs involve the system. On this experiment, the missile was launched from a cargo ship toward a target at sea. LORA is an artillery weapon system which consists of a long-range, tactical ground-to-ground missile developed by IAI’s MALAM division.
