Her parents were disappointed that their oldest child is not an alpha while their younger one is, and so they chose to only care for their younger child. Kim grew up knowing that her parents never loved her as she was said to be the hated child in her family. Her parents decided to send her to an all alpha school due to the fact that her mother wanted Kim to give her the title of a good mother, showing to the public that she accepts her daughter (although no one cared).
