Center signs peace pact with 6 Karbi Anglong rebel groups, Shah present HD

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday announced that the Centre will sign a peace pact with six Karbi Anglong rebel groups later in the day. Shah made the remarks while addressing the 51th Foundation Day of Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPR&D). The pact has been signed in the presence of the Union Home Minister, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and leaders of the six outfits.
