J Balvin feat. EXO – Ginza Lotto (TeijiWTF Mashup) HD

↓LINKS BELOW↓ Hi everyone! This is the first time I use the genre Reggaeton for one of my published mashups. All the Spanish-speakers who have listened to the EXO’s “Lotto”, confirm that because of the way of singing and voice effects, it’s so similar to Reggaeton style, and some people do consider this song basically belong to that genre, although it’s actually a mix of Pop and Trap. I thought it was a good idea to make a mashup with the known song “Ginza”, by J Balvin, because it’s not only well combined because of the genre, but also it sounds pretty cool with that bass, and I think it could be a successful song as an unique one. About the vocal track, I’ve pitched it some tones higher, to fit it to the instrumental bass. I’ve used a filter effect and a reverb at the beginning and the end of the song by modulating the cutoff frequency, because if not, it sounded like too loud, so I transitioned the last part of both loops from filtered to a normal sound, and it finally sounded pretty cool with the song together. I repeated this filter effect in the minute 0:58, where there’s a long part with no vocal in the original Lotto song, and it sounded like a wrong empty part to me, so I decided to repeat the first sung word three times and added this filter effect again. I finished the song adding a reverb effect. The vocal track, being a filtered acapella, it has like a noise in the background by default which can not be deleted, so I cleaned some parts, and those changes became obvious, then I added a delay effect to the entire vocal track, which I modulated it to make it sound to the rhythm of the song and it has ended pretty successfully, because empty parts are covered and, in addition, the final part ended sounding like a pro, because that delay make the vocals repeat coordinately until it disappear, and as an end, it sounds so epic, I guess. I had to repeat the last loop once, because the vocal track is longer than the instrumental one, so instead of deleting parts of the vocal, I decided to duplicate some loops, and it sounded pretty cool at the end. I also repeated the first loop when the song is finishing, and it sounded even better than the original instrumental track, in my opinion.
