In this metal detecting hunt we are revisiting a property that has produced some old relics. Nothing valuable but some neat stuff none the less. Using our Garrett AT Pro, AT Gold and some good digging tools we took advantage of the good weather and got out to do some metal detecting. We recovered an old Missouri Sales Tax Receipt Token, an old cowboy calf roper belt buckle plate, an old badge shaped promotional decoder ring, and of course a 1949 silver half dollar. We had a wonderful day metal detecting and plan on hitting this property again in the future. We have only hit around the house in the main yard which is mowed regularly. We have a sneaking suspicion that there is an older foundation somewhere on the property but the grass is too high to explore too far without a mower. We may wait until this winter and see what we can find.
