Netflix unleashed a new original series, The OA, in December and now it is being renewed for its exciting second season. The series gained popularity for being strange and controversial. According to ScreenRant, "The series revolves around a formerly blind woman who mysteriously disappeared, only to be found seven years later with her vision restored." The series was developed by indie director Zal Batmanglij and actress Brit Marling.
