Maxstone 8 vs RedCat Super Crawler on river sand

28.03.2011
Having some fun with a Maxstone 1/8th and a Red Cat Super Crawler 1/8. The maxstone does not do dual steering out of the box, my brother modify it to do so. Check this link for more info: http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/newbie-general/302810-4-wheel-steering-mod-how-where.html Update: The maxstone broke the internal axle gears, both of them during the same day, so my brother brought a red cat 1/8 chassis (since he could not find the metal replacement for the maxstone and if the car broke the plastic ones once it would do it again) and moved the electronic parts from the maxstone. The red cat is a tough crawler. It has taken a lot of punish (it even rolled down a hill) and is still alive. My brother and friend now have the same model (well except for some electronics) and they work great. Strangely, the redcat 1/8 from our friend has never broken any of both original servos, as this is a common part known to quickly break for RTR rc cars.
