AOPA Fly-In l Congested Airspace l Live ATC HD

VERY CONGESTED arrival for the AOPA fly-in at the uncontrolled airport of Indy Regional (KMQJ) Myself and a fellow pilot departed Mufreesboro Aviation in N3379E, a Cessna 172M a 0515. This video picks up about 35 miles south of Indianapolis Regional (KMQY) from a 3.1 hour flight to Indy. The approach took us toward the Honda Plant at 39.369497, -85.541214 then continue north to I-70 and head west towards KMQJ. Just as we were heading towards the plant, Indy Approach turned us west for resequencing into the Honda Arrival. As we turned left to intersect and follow I-70, thing got crazy busy. I was happy to have myself and another pilot up front making sure everything went smoothly. Thank you for watching
