This is a song about suicide. I wrote it as a tribute to those who left and comfort to us they left behind, when brothers and sisters went across the ocean, the endless tundra, and never returned. The suicides among indigenous youth are far too many. The exploitation pushes people away. When earth cries, hearts die. This video reflects that with photos from exploitaion areas in Sápmi (Alta and Gállok among others), and the struggle for existence and human rights that has been going on for hundreds of years. We are still here.
