There are lots of choices out there but for me, I’ve been using Panasonic’s Eneloop Rechargeable Batteries. This is a starter package and it comes with 8 double A’s and 4 triple A batteries plus a quick charger. I like the Eneloop because they come precharged and they will keep 70% of their charge even after 10 years of non-use. This package is great if you have multiple Xbox controllers and can be charged over 2000 times! The wall charger can charge 4 batteries at a time and is fairly quick. They insert easily and has an LED status indicator. It starts out red and will turn green when done. For 2 batteries it takes about 90 minutes. Four batteries take about 3 hours. And because I have extra batteries around, I never worry about having to stop my gameplay for long. It’s been working out so well with my first Xbox that I bought another set of batteries for my 2nd Xbox. I keep one charger upstairs and one downstairs. It’s been really nice using rechargeable batteries so I don’t have to keep recycling dead alkaline batteries. And one last thing, the AAA batteries go in my TV remote so now everything runs on rechargeable batteries in my media room.
