AKAINU KILLS ACE, WHITEBEARD WRECKS AKAINU, WHITEBEARD VS BLACKBEARD AND WHITEBEARD’S LAST WORDS! These episodes were so heart breaking to watch. Whitebeard orders the Whitebeard Pirates to leave Marineford without him. So the Whitebeard Pirates reluctantly obey but Ace stays behind to protect Whitebeard from the Marines attacking him using his fire. A dying Whitebeard asks him if he was a good father to which Ace replies as an absolute yes. Meanwhile, the citizens of the other islands are desperate to see the footage of the war which was cut off but Buggy and his Pirates find a Marine’s Den Den Mushi which they wish to use to broadcast the legendary Buggy. However, the Den Den Mushi is curled up inside so Buggy talks about how it has feelings which makes it come out of its shell allowing the citizens to watch Buggy instead of the war. Back to the war, Akainu calls Whitebeard a loser which stops Ace from running away from the island with everyone else. Akainu talks about how Gold Roger made his name a legacy which people were afraid of whilst Whitebeard shows too much compassion even forgiving an idiot who betrayed him and didn’t even become the Pirate King. Ace tries to attack him but Akainu’s Magma proves to burn his fire. Akainu then throws a Magma Fist towards an exhausted Luffy but Ace gets in the way, taking the blow completely. This creates a huge, bloody hole at the centre of his chest and his Vivre card slowly disintegrates. Luffy holds onto a dying Ace and shouts for medical assistance but a Doctor and Ivankov tell him that he’s beyond help now. Luffy cries as Ace tells him how he doesn’t regret anything apart from regretting that he won’t be able to see Luffy fulfil his dream of becoming the Pirate King. Ace dies in Luffy’s arms and everyone starts crying. Whilst Luffy cries so uncontrollably, Akainu tries to throw another Magma Fist at him but Marco saves Luffy. Jinbe takes Luffy to safety for immediate medical attention as he passed out whilst crying. Meanwhile, the Whitebeard Pirates try to avenge Ace’s death by attacking Akainu with their weapons but it only passes right through him. A furious Whitebeard then pummels Akainu to the ground. Akainu manages to throw another Magma Fist shot at Whitebeard creating another huge hole in his torso but Whitebeard still manages to hold his own. Whitebeard wrecks Akainu a second time and that attack destroys Marineford and splits the plaza. The Whitebeard Pirates then decide to leave but on the execution platform, the Blackbeard Pirates arrive. Whitebeard is furious upon seeing the traitorous Blackbeard and wishes to avenge Thatch’s murder by killing him. Sengoku asks for an explanation of how the Blackbeard Pirates came here with Shiliew joining them. A Marine informs Sengoku that the Gates of Justice were opened allowing an unknown Warship to enter Marineford, that being the Blackbeard Pirates’ warship. Furthermore, Laffitte explains that he hypnotised the Marines to open the Gates of Just
