Today we have got the Mi 4. This is a 64GB model & we will be seeing the unboxing & a quick review of the phone. The phone is available for Rs. 23,999 on Flipkart through their flash sale format. Earlier they introduced the Mi4 16GB but after receiving very cold response, the company had to launch 64 gig variant to compete well against the OnePlus One, which is available for Rs. 22,000 on Amazon India. As told before, this is mi4 64GB with snapdragon 2.5 quad-core processor, 3GB RAM, 5inch full HD IPS display with 1920 x 1080 resolution. It has massive 8MP front camera & 13MP rear camera The battery is 3000 mAh which seems decent. MIUI 6 (or you can call, "Mee UI 6") is a custom firmware based on Android KitKat. MIUI is similar to what TouchWiz for Samsung, giving a complete new user interface & added features The phone supports 2G & 3G network, and it does not support 4G – which is kind of bad. This phone has FM Radio & IR blaster for remote control. What comes in the box is: The phone unit, USB 2.0 data cable, EU power adapter, user guide & the warranty card. Phone does resemble to iPhone Volume & power buttons are on the side as usual, volume buttons are not separated from each other, which personally I don’t like. The display is quite crisp & colors are very bright. From the look at the screen you can recognize this as a premium phone. The Mee UI looks familiar with all Mi phones. Display clarity can be compared to the Samsung Note 4 & definitely much better than iPhone Swipe down from top to you see notifications area & various system toggles, there’re plenty of options you can use here. From here you can also go to settings. There, the first thing you now notice is that – the MIUII 6 is a hybrid product totally inspired from Samsung’s Touch Wiz UI & Apple’s iOS 7. Colors, presentation looks completely like the iPhone. Under the "Settings", there’re lot more options you can set. Like for example, Voice Recording shows two options to set the mode for recording, one is for Music & other is for Voice recording. It has got in-built malware scanner app for website browsing. In additional settings, under "Headphones & audio effects" – we’re presented with different presets to choose from. The ability to activate “Mi Sound Enhancer” is available once the headphone is connected to the phone. You can then select if you want to use Theme’s ringtones or not. Remote app can be used by pairing with Mi TV, Set-top Box etc. A nice sound recorder UI but again, looks inspired from Apple. FM Radio UI is also nice but, – you must connect the headphones which is no good, but that’s the only way to receive better FM signals. Camera the most talked feature of the phone. By default, photo quality is set to use Standard mode, which you must change to High Quality. The shutter l
