Tropics Watch: Earl bringing flood threat to Puerto Rico & Caribbean Islands HD
Tropical Storm Earl will NOT make landfall in the Caribbean, but feeder bands associated with the storm could cause flooding over the next couple of days. As Earl moves AWAY from the Caribbean, it is expected to become the second hurricane of the 2022 hurricane season. By late in the work week, Earl is forecast to become a major hurricane east of Bermuda. As of right now, Bermuda should not be impacted by the worst of the storm, but is something to pay attention to. Hurricane Danielle continues to meander in the North Atlantic. It is expected to maintain hurricane status over the next couple of days before losing its tropical characteristics. Nasty weather is possible in part of Europe next weekend as the system moves over the Northeast Atlantic. A third wave moving off of Africa could develop late in the week over the Central Atlantic. The peak of hurricane season is September 10th.
