Hell has fallen on Scotland! Worst flood in Perth in 40 years!
Extreme weather is affecting Scotland. On September 8, heavy rains fell in Perth. Residents woke up in literally flooded areas. The meteorological service has declared a yellow alert. A total of 140 mm of precipitation fell. The city center, residential streets and residential areas were flooded with water. The Moncrieff tunnel was badly damaged by heavy rain, the wall on the left side turned into a waterfall. Railroad tracks near Greenside between Perth and Lady Bank were also flooded. Authorities are advising residents to refrain from any travel to areas hardest hit by the floods. Fire brigades provided assistance at least 10 times. Perth is a city in central Scotland.
