Apple iPhone 8 leaks, renders & specifications! HD

Earlier this month, Forbes acquired a CAD design of the iPhone 8 from case designer Nodus, and released some 3D renders based on this. Now, the publication has received more information from the case maker and has published more detailed renders of the device. The report has also revealed the pricing of the iPhone 8. According to the source, the iPhone 8’s 5.8-inch elongated display will have slim bezels measuring approximately 4mm on all sides. The phone won’t be as prone to accidental inputs like the Infinity and Edge displays on the latest Samsung Galaxy flagships. Just like its predecessor, the iPhone 8 won’t be getting a 3.5mm headphone jack. It will come with a Lightning port, and not with a USB Type-C port as has been rumoured. The report suggests that the iPhone 8 will get stereo speakers with a combination of the bottom speaker and an amplified earpiece. The phone will come with a larger power button, but it’s not clear if it will integrate a Touch ID fingerprint sensor. The source mentions that it’s not clear how Apple will redesign iOS 11 to accommodate the cutout at the top of the screen, which accommodates the selfie camera and sensors. Finally, the report claims that the iPhone 8 will offer better battery life than the iPhone 7 Plus, despite having a significantly smaller chassis. The brand will achieve this by equipping the phone with a new L-shaped battery. As for the pricing, the report suggests that the Apple iPhone 8 will be the most expensive iPhone yet. Its starting price will be either $1,100 (~Rs 70,800) or $1,200 (~Rs 77,230). The phone will be offered only in the top two storage variants – 256GB and 128GB, but this is yet to be confirmed. September is the month when the 10th year anniversary of the iPhone will be celebrated with the iPhone 8’s launch.
