iPhone 4S iOS 8.0.2 vs 8.1 (see annotations in video) HD

So we compared iOS 7.1.2 to 8.0.2, and saw that on a freshly installed phone, 8.0.2 did not do too bad. But what does iOS 8.1 have in store for us, in terms of speed improvements ? Well check out this video where iOS 8.0.2 goes head to head with iOS 8.1 beta 1 on iPhone 4S. Looks like we might get a faster iPhone 4S on iOS 8.1. Boot time, camera launch and appstore looks to be performing faster. Considering that iOS betas usually contain debug code that would slow down the phone, it looks promising for the final version of iOS 8.1 Update : October 7th 2014 iOS 8.1 Beta 2 was released. It performs exactly like beta 1, so still the same score. Today Ocober 20th 2014 iOS 8.1 was finally released. We did the same tests once again on the final release. And it is performing just like the beta versions did, no measurable changes.
