The firearm produced here can be exact copy of another rifle such as AK47, or can be a new model/design for a specific caliber. Such as the 2 rifles shown in the video uses the 7.62x54mmR ammo which is the ammo used in the famous Soviet Mosin-Nagant Rifles. So, apart from producing copies of Mosin Nagant, the Gunsmiths of Dara also produce rifles of different design. The copied rifles are almost 70-80% cheaper than the original rifles. Other examples of copy firearms produced are 7mm rifles, 8mm rifles, AK47s, Tokarev TT-33s, Colt M1911s, Mosin Nagant, and recently Turkish 9mm handguns copies are also produced. The Dara firearms all handmade and are produced using materials such as, railway rails, and other scrap metal. The quality of these firearms varies widely. They can be as good as a factory-produced example or dangerously poor.
