"Do You Feel Like We Do?" Chord Progression - Classic Rock Backing Track [D Minor - 4/4 - 101 BPM]

04.10.2014
This chord progression is basically in D minor, however the one chord is a D MAJOR! In musical terms we call that MODAL INTERCHANGE (we swap in a I chord from D Major (Ionian) or Mixolydian). Why can we do that? Cuz BLUES, that’s why! Also it sounds good. Also, who cares? The real question is: What sounds good over it? Since we borrowed the D chord from D Ionian or Mixolydian, that means that we should play D Ionian or Mixolydian! But only on the D chord, the rest has got to be either Aeolian or Dorian.
