Steps to using your own Router with Verizon FIOS. 1. Call Verizon while your old router is connected. Tell them you would like your DHCP lease to be released. Once they say its completed unplug it and you can end the call with them 2. Connect your router to your new ONT to computer run the installation wizard set up your connection and wifi and make sure your internet is working. 3. Connect Your moca adapter. Network Port : Coax from ONT ---- Device Port: Coax from TV Set Top Box. Ethernet into LAN Port #2 on your router WAN will be connected from the ONT LAN#1 to the computer and LAN#2 to the Moca Adapter. 4.
