Russian forces advance towards Bakhmut, some captured. Russian Airborne Forces with the support of Wagner Group PMC attacked Armed Forces of Ukraine guards in the direction of Bakhmut, Donetsk region following Ukrainian forces retreating 2 km from the city. During the battle the Russian and Chechen forces managed to capture several Armed Forces of Ukraine.
