Alexander Flyarkovsky: Foxtrot "Rainbow" HD

Flyarkovsky (1931-2014) was a russian composer. He studied at the Leningrad Choir School, and later at the Moscow Conservatory, where one of his classmates was Rodion Shchedrin. His prolific composing career was combined with politics: from 1970 to 1980, he was Deputy Minister of Culture for the Russian Federation, and from 1980 to 1990 was secretary of the Union of Soviet Composers (presumably one of the last such). His remarkable output encompassed all genres (notably film music), and included some ten secular oratorios.
