Let’s start with the exterior. From the outside you will see the familiar lines Infiniti is famous for. Everything, starting from the chrome trim elements to the mat 22” wheels, outlines what you can expect inside just perfectly. Would you like the fastest presentation of the exterior you could ever imagine? This is THE biggest SUV you can go for. Let’s be honest here. How many times have you felt lack of power in the SUV you’re currently driving? 400 horses and a 5.6-liter engine of the Infiniti QX80 - at your service. Wondering why the manufacturer decided to go with so much power for just an SUV? I think it’s because they don’t want you to feel somewhat deprived, while buying a car in the $64,000 - $95,000 price tag. Plus, the QX80 weights 5,878 lbs., and can tow up to 8,500 lbs. Whether you’re going to buy an SUV dedicated mostly for a “pickup truck use” is totally up to you but I must say that it’s certainly nice to feel that you’re not “limited” in anything, and, probably, that is the main philosophy of the brand overall and this model in particular. With your permission, I’ll take the liberty and compare the acceleration to takeoff. 6.3 seconds for a car that heavy and that huge is a real accomplishment to say the least. My only suggestion to the manufacturer would be just to add a sport exhaust and ability to control “the noise level” with the settings. With an impressive 0 to 60, there should be a racing car noise emitted, and that won’t affect the luxuriousness of the car.
