На прогулке в лесу легко ставить команды: ко мне, принеси(апорт), ищи, стоять, поворот и т.д. Ведь команды нужны не для сдачи их на экзамене, а для полного и эффективного взаимодействия с собакой. Беря собаку на велосипедные прогулки или озеро, вы знакомите её с чем-то новым и тогда щенячья тревожность сменяется смелостью. Плавание же - это прекрасная возможность накачать мышцы, преодолеть страх перед новой средой, поиграть и вдоволь поплескаться. Many ask us to make a video about our dogs’ training process. But I have to note that the training is not just a few exercises. It is a continuous process of our communication with our dogs ALL the time. During the walk in a forest is easier to learn the command “Here”, “Fetch”, “Watch”, “Stay”, “Turn”, etc. Learning commands is important not because of the general obedience course requirements but for the most sophisticated and clear owner-dog cooperation establishment. Taking a dog on your bicycle riding or to the walk along the lake makes it acquainted with something new. That makes its’ puppies’ anxiety turn into courage. Swimming is an excellent possibility to develop muscles, overcome fear of a new environment, play and splash quite enough. All commands of general and advanced obedience courses are designed to help the owner to make a dog understand what it is required of it. If it has understood, learnt and executed the command then the training has been successful. I have been working with German Shepherds for quite a long time and I have put a goal for myself – to have fun of the communication process with those wonderful and clever animals, to teach them to communicate with humans, to trust their instincts. That means that just a training is not enough. If you look carefully at what is on our videos you will be able to understand how this process is happening.
