Front pattern piece (will be cut on fold) = half hip measurement plus SA eg hip measurement is 100cm, you would do 50cm plus 1.5cm SA total 51.5cm. . For the back pattern piece (you will cut 2) it’s half the hip measurement plus 2 x SA, so 53cm if hip is 100cm. .
