These highly affordable pedals feature durable aluminum enclosures and offset jacks for occupying the least amount of space on your pedal board. 8 offerings from Outlaw Effects include a wide variety of true bypass, analog overdrives and distortion effects that span a wide range of styles from blues to metal. Starting with the cleanest, the Hangman overdrive is a simple 3 knob design that takes you from transparent boost to crunchy, mid boosted drive that cuts through a mix. You’ll find the Hangman to be very interactive with your guitars volume knob and sensitive to your picking dynamics. The Dead Man’s Hand is a 2-mode overdrive capable of handling anything from light breakup to fatter, creamier drive. The Aces and Eights toggle switch not only changes the gain but voicing to match both single coil and humbuckers equipped guitars. The Widow Maker Distortion produces sinister metal tones with higher compression and saturation for a tight attack. The 3 modes allow boosting of high or low frequencies, which is a simple way to match this pedals’ brutal high gain tones with your amp. The Lock Stock & Barrel distortion is aimed at the powerful, open sounds of a vintage high wattage tube amp. Outlaw FX give you 3 modes: Lock has an organic tube amp crunch, Stock gives you a more modern voicing with tight bass and thick mids, and Barrel gives your vintage distortion with extra string definition. Moving into modulation, the Vigilante chorus delivers smooth shimmering tones or heavier pulses with its 3 versatile controls. Effect level allows you to dial back the mix on higher depth settings or go all in for that lush, slightly delayed modulation that always spices up a dry clean tone. The Quick Draw delay is an analog-voiced delay capable of self-oscillation and low noise operation. With a delay range up to 620ms, you can easily recreate your favorite dotted eighth note rhythms, short slapback and medium length delays that give your solos a huge sound. Take a listen to the repeats and you’ll find a warm yet crisp replication of your guitar signal that gracefully eases its way into gritty analog textures as the feedback increases. The 24K reverb hosts 3 different modes for placing your guitar in different musical environments. The room setting can give your guitar some extra dimension without affecting your playing style. Use the reverb’s tone to further shape the reflections in the space. The Plate increases the size of your tone with a studio type verb that’s capable of smooth reverb tails, even in high decay settings. And just like a classic spring tank, the spring mode dishes out lively reverberation that responds to your pick attack. Outlaw FX even offer an ultra compact chromatic tuner with a relatively large LCD display. The aptly titled Six Shooter tuner is wired for true bypass and can be used wit
